I am running your preferred choiced with M Performance suspension and OEM tire sizes and no rubbing issues. I had the same concern you have. Not sure how much M Adaptive suspension would compress in comfort mode, but as long as you stick with OEM tire size or maybe one size wider in the rear, you should be OK.
