Sorry for the thread necro, but my question is relevant to this thread. I took delivery of an F30 335i in South Africa. I did not get the navigation package so I have a 6.5" screen. I do however have telephone prep to allow for a snap in adapter, and enhanced bluetooth.
I use my iPod a lot (the regular iPod, not iPod touch) and the standard iPod interface sucks major balls. I see that on BMW Apps there is an enhanced iPod interface that resembles an actual iPod. Is it possible to reprogram / retrofit something to allow me to have this iPod interface? I do not want or need navigation. Also, does the enhanced iPod interface work with a regular iPod or does it need an iPhone or iPod touch to work?
