I can only comment on my experience last year when I purchased some V1s for my Audi S5. Like the OP, the rears sat way too low even with the perch screwed all the way down. Originally KW sent me some spacers which helped but my car was still lowered way past the minimum drop they advertise. In the end, KW sent me a new spring that was made for a Audi Wagon which was longer by at least an inch.
This is why I am going for Bilsteins this time around for my 4 series.
