If I'm honest, how you are treated when you arrive in Munich is one of the glaring shortcomings of the BMW European Delivery program. I notice this time that they at least have some group rates negotiated at various Munich Hotels.
Mercedes, Audi, and Volvo all provide transportation from the airport to either your hotel or their respective delivery centers. I believe they all provide at least one night in a local hotel also. Volvo goes one step further and gives you round trip airfare for 2 from the US on SAS to Gothenberg. BMW gives you bupkus.
Cab fare from the airport into central Munich is ~EUR40-50.
Rolf charges EUR55 (which might be slightly higher than a cab, but maybe not). He's a long time BMW employee and is very friendly.
If you are staying close to the main train station or Nordfriedhof, I would recommend taking the Lufthansa Bus (
http://www.airportbus-muenchen.de/cms/en/). It drops off at Nordfriedhof and at the Hauptbahnoff and is only like $15pp. Otherwise, you can take the train from the airport into town (
