If the 8AT was bland, average or just poor then would agree.
However it is amazing and interacts with the engine so well (especially 6 pot).
Also once you are popping in and out of 3 figures mph, you really feel how quick the changes are.
Also how well does a manual interact with active cruise?
Have always been manual previously, however now addicted to this setup.
It's just so flexible and handles the power delivery so well.
Admittedly with 335d and 330d it's the only option.
