My car was making grinding noise when it slow brakes so I brought it to the dealership thinking the warranty would cover any repair work needed.

The dealership inspected it and said the rotors was warped and that it required to be shaved down or possibly replaced. However, the dealership said they can't do any work for me because I am not the original owner of the car and the maintenance warranty doesn't transfer. Since it was the last day of the maintenance, they can offer me a discounted one year extension on the maintenance warranty for $850 ($1,075 is the retail price) and also have the maintenance program changed to my name. I agreed and asked them to throw in the oil service change, replace wiper blade inserts, micro-filter change and general inspection. I asked him what would have been the retail cost of these services and was told $1,100.

Question, was I unknowingly ripped off? or is it a decent deal?
