The 328xi arrived at the dealership late this afternoon, so I'll be picking it up on New Year's Eve!! Not a bad way to end 2012!
I'm impressed: it's been exactly a month and 1 day between order and arrival to the dealership. (Ordered 11/28). Not too shabby at all, BMW.
Thanks again to everyone here for their advice.
I'll post pictures next week when I get the car!
