100 dollars for a 2 step paint correction sounds way too cheap. Anyone who knows what they are doing is going to charge you more for their time, effort, and experience.
If BMW is just contracting out the work, you are better off contracting out yourself, at least you get to choose who you use, why pay and let BMW make that decision for you?
I think your best bet is asking people whos' cars make you say "wow that car looks amazing" They will most likely lead you down the right road.
