The way things are going there's no point as once they get in to high speed pursuits it becomes to "dangerous" and they have to stop or are not allowed to pursue in the first place as the London scooter crime wave demonstrates.
Until we change to law to protect Police and other law enforcement instead of hanging them out to dry there's no point.
I'm at the far end of the Customer service experience for criminals and see similar issues every day in our jails with staff up against it.
