Driven both adaptive and STD, chose Adaptive, I can feel the difference but in general driving you can be happy with STD.
Visibility pack to me is essential as the adaptive lights alone are worth having.
I have used the STD light equipped car last week ( 525D SE saloon 2013 ) and frankly they are crap.
