When it comes to something like a JB3, you're not really going to know it's been there once it's removed, unless the previous owner was sloppy about it.
I'd avoid a car I knew was modded, but the reality is, it's so common on turbo cars, and so easy to reverse, you really have no way of knowing. I'd say the number of lease returned 335is on the lots that have had a tune on them at one point would be just staggering.
