If you want to get emails working on the Iphone 4S / 5 with IOS 6 try closing the mail app (double click the 'apple' button and close all open apps to be on the safe side). Then stick in the dock when you climb into the vehicle and yall will find the mails work but appear as SMS messages.

but there you go - just had the whole car software updated on my F30 (at service time) and this is still the case (1st paragraph has been true since the 1005 update went on from memory)
Office works without fault on my Blackberry which is the 2nd work phone for when on call
