It's no different than it is for a car with CIC and 48.1.
The issue isn't the head Unit or any other hardware, rather it always a matter of what ISTA/P version was last used to program the car versus what PSdZData you have for E-Sys. So long as your PSdZData version is equal to or higher than the ISTA/P version on the car, there are no issues.
You can have car with older hardware, but newer software, so a car with CIC and 48.2 on it will have problems using 48.1 PSdZData, whereas a car with NBT and 48.1 on it won't.
