I still think I'm right.

If they would pull the fog lights to remove airflow obstructions, then it make sense that they would do the same for that giant rectangle for active cruise in the middle.

Maybe in the future, BMW will build that somewhere else into the vehicle bumper. But I hope it doesnt look like the original caddies with the night vision: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...61274000712296
