I plug my iPad (newest) and it recognizes the iPad fine. I installed the BMW connected app, but doesn't connect trough the iPad even with WiFi to it. Well I wouldn't like to run my Galaxy S3 via bluetooth and the iPad trough USB, but I'll have to try and see if it works.
I though well maybe it's the iPad, so I tried it with my brother's iPhone 4s and doesn't even recognizes the phone. Same with my sister's iPhone 4s. We don't have BMW assist in Brazil.
Why would there be a need for this cable? I am a bit confused. What I am trying to do is get BMW Apps to work trough the iPhone on my 6.5" Professional radio/screen. My Galaxy S3 works, connects to BMW live and everything, activates the bluetooth tethering automatically when needed, but Android doesn't have the BMW Connected (which gives all Apps) etc ... frustrating as the S3 has great integration with this system already. |
I do not. I have basic idrive and no advanced Bluetooth.
