Ever heard of the placebo effect? You might believe that it sounds better, but digital audio is completely unlike analog audio. With digital audio, you either get audio, or you don't. There is no gradual degradation of quality like you'd hear with analog audio. The signal is composed of a stream of 1s and 0s. Either the 1s and 0s make it, or they don't. There is no half-way.
