The trade in price for fair is $8000 but the dealer offered 6250. At this point im waiting for the dealer to increase the trade in price. To be honest my car is running so good that Im not in a rush to buy the new one unless I get all the right parameters to what I have in plan.
Since you cut the cost of the new car to so low, dealer's not gonna want a trade-in. Remember after he buys it from you he has to re-flip it to another buyer, more work for him. At most he'd prob give you 1k under what you can get from a private buyer.
