For improved race capability. We need the air intakes for air. That’s why the fog lights are out. Because you have more driving on the racetracks than in Europe...
If I'm not careening down mountains and riverbeds or skidding across sandy beaches in my SUV, I'm winding out on racetracks with my bimmer. Local streets and highways are for sissies.
