I suspect it's one of the following 2:
(i) BMW Online* - provides access to online services (e-mail, customized portals for news, weather etc., and Google Maps); or
(ii) BMW Live - enables access to selected online content via the active Bluetooth data connection to your mobile phone.
* May not be available in all countries. Please consult your BMW partner.
This is copied from "The New BMW 3 Series Saloon" brochure. My sales executive told me I can connect my Blackberry to the car via [BMW Live - I think! If I remember correctly] and have my emails and SMSes (text messages) read out to me.
