Comments:
1. The tops are rubbery/plastic material. NO CARPET-LIKE MATERIAL. High quality feel.
2. The design is what it is. I think it's great.
3. On a scale of 10=GRIP to 1=SLIDE, I'll give it a 4.
4. WILL NOT hold sand or dirt. There is texture but virtually no depth. You'll be shaking these things out on a very regular basis. Not necessarily a bad thing.
5. I obviously don't know if they'll hold scuffs and such or clean up nicely. Time will tell.
6. Overall I like the quality, design and the feel of these mats. They impress as an "upgrade".
