The GT was hideous the first time I saw it. Now that my mind and eyes have had time to get used to it... it's still hideous.
People, please stop buying these things. If nobody bought them, they would go back to selling wagons. It never ceases to amaze me how many people who drive an SUV say they would never drive a wagon. Idiots. The differences between an suv and a wagon: SUV is heavier, higher center of gravity, lousy handling, longer braking distance, worse gas mileage, all for the privilege of having the exact same amount of interior room. If they sold a 5 series all wheel drive touring, why would I choose an x5 over that. What advantages would it have? Same with a 3 series wagon vs. x3. I'm probably going to trade in my pickup next winter for an x5 to be my winter beater, but if they sold the touring here, that would be my choice. A few simple things can really make a touring look sharp. Subtle lowering, slightly wider wheels and tires, and window tint and you've got a nice looking ride. Better looking than an SUV.
GT is not even in my discussion 'cause I wouldn't park one in my driveway if it was given to me for free.
