I was all set to trade in my X5 for a sweat loaded 2015 328ix GT CPO.
It was gonna be a 8 hour drive. I didn't get the CPO check list so I asked for it a few times prior to leaving.
I noticed that there were 3 services but only 2 oil changes
1. 8K Mile BMW Oil Change
2. 17K mile BMW service but no oil change
3. 29K mile BMW Oil Change
when asked why there was no oil change for 20K miles - first I was told that BMW recommends 20K mile between changes (clearly BS
). But, I persisted and they finally checked with service and told me that they had to de-list the CPO because of its service record.
Moral of the story - Trust but verify - make sure you review the CPO checklist and the service record.
