I plugged my radar detector into the below the glove box outlet and ran it across the footwell, up the door under the weather seal, across the headliner to the mirror. Very easy install. Something I noticed was that when the start/stop triggers, my radar detector chirps, I guess from the low voltage. I'd love to know how to hard wire the detector but seriously, I have to wire to the trunk?
