The important thing is to avoid scratching the paint when you remove the bugs. There will be abrasive material mixed in the goo........ For a lot of bugs, the best thing is probably to use a do it yourself spray car wash - the ones with the high pressure wand. You can also use this to get rid of the bugs off the radiator - just spray through the grille slats.
Take the bugs off as soon as possible - it will make it much easier. ...........and be sure to use a couple coats of wax - and re-wax after you clean the front - it makes it easier to remove the critters.
