I would hope that most people know better than to think they can spend a few hundred bucks on springs and 'improve' their handling. Anyone who just buys springs is doing so because they want the car to be lower and either can't afford to swap anything else or doesn't care enough to do so. I see plenty of people with cars slammed into the ground who are perfectly happy to just cruise around at the speed limit (or even below it
) not everyone cares about performance or handling.
But, if you do care about performance or the feel of your car through corners, swapping springs without touching anything else is not a great idea.
