Hatchbacks are great and I'm anxious to see what this looks like. My previous car was a Saab 900S, a hatchback, and it was amazing the way it could swallow cargo when needed - an incredibly versatile car. I had four six foot cedars in the hatch once. In contrast, the trunk of my 328i is overflowing with a couple of suitcases. If the styling is done well, then I will put my money down for a hatchback - far better than a portly and cumbersome SUV.
