Upload Contacts - "with addresses" ?
If this has been answered before I can not find it - & search did not work.
I have been told by a BMW rep that:
- all the approved phones will allow you to upload your "Contacts" to the Office and Nav systems in the car via Bluetooth
BUT
- that none of them will include the "address" data for those contacts.
That means that to use the Navigation to get to the location of a contact you have to "save" the contact to the Car's data (hard drive) and then add the address manually before you can select it for navigation.
Is this what everyone else experiences - or has someone been able to also upload the "address" field from their phone contacts??
I am trying to sort this out for my 2014 328xiT (Nov 13 build) - that has all the latest nav and Connected Drive options - and to do so "before" I upgrade my phone in hopes of everything working.
So many variables - so little time to learn.
