That's just the
full black panel display for the 7 series. Not an option for the 3 series and won't be for a while, I guess. Don't hold your breath for getting it on the LCI models - wait for the next whole revision at least. We only get a tiny LCD panel embedded at the bottom of the right hand instrument cluster and they still dare to call it "black panel display"
it's good - better than analog stuff and lights but nowhere near as cool as the full-on 7 series variant
