Someone will have to look up the part numbers for each spring set, but I believe you are correct that the springs and/or spring rates are the same.
The difference between each "system" is that the sport suspension has fixed damping on compression and rebound.
The Adaptive M has dampers where the compression and/or rebound valve circuits can "change" based on setting, and the system can "read" the road surface and adjust valving accordingly.

Does anyone know if the sport/M sport springs are straight rate or progressive?
