Since we're being anecdotal I had way more punctures in my old peugeot 307 non rfts than I had with my bmws. However, the frustration is the limitation of repair. tbh I never knew we could get them repaired at all, sucking up the party line etc. But now I have tyre insurance on my f30 so no worries there - it's the E61 that I'll look into for repairs if I get a puncture...
