Question about Extended Merino Leather Interior
When BMW starts taking USA "Individual Program" orders for the F30 (hopefully in July), I will try to get my dealer to order the "Extended Merino Leather Interior" described on page 28 of the attached German price list for July 2012. By all recent statements from BMWNA as published in this forum, we should be able to order any "Individual" paint color, interior, or trim available elsewhere in the world -- through the BMWNA individual program. We'll see. . .
For the M Sport, Individual Extended Merino Leather is a Euro 2750 option in Germany including Value-Added Tax (Euro 1080 premium over standard Dakota leather). Euro 1080 would normally equate to a USA premium of about $1400 over standard leather, about double the price, assuming that BMW prices it fairly.
My question is this:
Besides the switch to a different leather type, does anyone know specifically which additional surfaces are real leather on the F30 "extended" leather option?
