The oil leak problem is caused by the people servicing your car. By over-tightening the filter house, they're ruining the gasket causing the leaks. If the technicians get it right, you shouldn't see this at all. |
Agreed, almost 100% laziness. I caused my own issue... Over torqued the filter cap and created a slow leak causing a major clean up effort. I swore it would never happen again. I purchased the ECS Tuning billet filter housing cap and torque every time... No more leaks
