Dealer tire insurance policy should include rim damage as well. Also allows you to take to dealer for repair. Your dealer should have a leverless tire mounting machine that won't mar the rims if the tech is properly trained how to use it.
Most retail tire shops still use tire mounting machines from the 1990s. The chain stores we have in South FL pretty much all have older tire changing machines that are not designed to be rim friendly when removing RFT low profile tires. You have to go to specialty shop here to find a good tire mounting machine and good road force balancer.
Dealer is an easier choice.
