In my case, the tire shop is a major dealer here in Toronto and almost everyone knows them. I initially ordered Hankooks but when I told him that I'd prefer a staggered approach and also lower the car on H&R Sport Springs, he immediately jumped and told me I HAD to go for the Goodyear Eagle F1's. These are also a more expensive option.
These tires will let me easily drop my car up to 3"!
I'm going with 245/30/20 in the front and 285/25/20 in the rear.

How would the tyre brand affect how much you can lower the car by? I would understand different tyre size but not brand. Please help me to understand?
