In my case, the tire shop is a major dealer here in Toronto and almost everyone knows them. I initially ordered Hankooks but when I told him that I'd prefer a staggered approach and also lower the car on H&R Sport Springs, he immediately jumped and told me I HAD to go for the Goodyear Eagle F1's. These are also a more expensive option.

These tires will let me easily drop my car up to 3"!

I'm going with 245/30/20 in the front and 285/25/20 in the rear.

He was very confident that I'll be happy and will enjoy both my ride and the look of my car...
How would the tyre brand affect how much you can lower the car by? I would understand different tyre size but not brand. Please help me to understand?
