How are you getting on with the Pirelli winter tyres? I have them on my 330d and given the mild weather I am thinking of taking them off and putting my 19's on.
Hi Pops, I'll second Rich on this. I've driven my Pirellis mainly in rain, often v very heavy and at temps below 4 degrees for a fair bit of that. I've been able to give the car a fair bit of stick out of bends and roundabouts and the traction is very impressive. I have no A-B test with original 19" summer tyres, but I feel I'm getting surprisingly high levels of grip in crap, cold weather.

It's worth reading a review or two on the tyre. There's a good one in Evo or Autocar which places it a close-drawn third overall, but rates it top for grip and control and points out that it's wet performance is well beyond summer tyres. I plan on keeping the winters on until early March.
