Yes - I agree. Isn't it a big part of the US Superbowl now?
I guess I just didn't think that winning an award for best advert was a big enough deal to be part of a "Triple success for BMW."
When you drive a 5 series, you want to see it win awards for groundbreaking engineering or at least for how good it looks. Trumpeting an award for the advert being good feels a bit like being damned with faint praise (as Favorinus might have said - had cars and adverts been around then...)
But yes, I take your point. Maybe I was a bit mean spirited in my earlier post.
