I just sold my e30 M3 after 9+ years of ownership a few months back, and I'm afraid that's going to haunt me forever. I must say, there was substantial incentive to sell the M3 given the high prices they are garnering now.
It'll be tough to find any car that will be as communicative as your E30. Sure, F30 will smoke the E30 by all the numbers, but it won't FEEL nearly as agile.
If you don't need something with 4 doors, I'd wait for the M235i with the optional LSD...it'll likely be the closest Bimmer available to your E30.
