Speedy to Ohio
I had an amazingly fast delivery too (my first BMW).. Ordered on 11/28/12 and arrived at the dealer on 12/29/2012 for a New Year's Eve Delivery to me on 12/31!
2013 BMW 328i X-drive Sport Line Sedan -- Black Sapphire Metallic
- 11/28/2012 Order placed at 5pm 11/28/2012
- 11/29/12: Production began
- ~ 12/7/12: Production completed
- 12/8/12: In transport to the port at Bremerhaven
- ~ 12/10/12: At port waiting on vessel; booked for vessel.
- 12/14/12: Loaded on vessel (Wallenius Wilhelmsen: "Salome"); vessel departs Germany.
- 12/27/12: Discharged from vessel - Port of Baltimore, MD
- 12/29/12: Car arrived late afternoon at dealer in Columbus, OH
Pretty impressive the more I think about it.. My CA and sales manager were both amazed, said the car and vessel picked up "one heck of a tail wind" getting here!
Loving the car, too... made it worth the wait!
