This is the first time in about 8 years that I've damaged an alloy but really gutted that someone else's thoughtless action caused it.

Have to decide now on how to get it fixed - basically want the wheel to look 'good as new'. The Wheel Specialist that dan mentioned looks interesting, only hassle is the nearest branch is about 30 miles away so there's the logistics. Alternative is my local dealer - they can provide a courtesy car or drop me back home and will store the car securely overnight if need be, but I wonder - can they make it look like new?
