They can call it whatever they want - just bring it BMW!
I still think the GC presents an ideal opportunity for BMW to justify a 4 series though, so if it comes to market I think that name still has a chance to be used. It would definitely give BMW more flexibility with respect to justifying a higher MSRP. For example, certainly the 6 GC will be priced much higher than the 5 sedan (probably close to the 6 coupe, if I were to guess). Mercedes uses the same strategy with the CLS vs. the E class sedan. Of course, as a consumer, I would obviously like to see it priced as low as possible.
