What tires are the cars running? There's a world of difference just with tires. My (F30)328i had the same lap times as a (F30)335i, because I was on Michelin Pilot Supersport tires vs the 335i's runflats.
Turn in on a 328i will feel better (vs an E36/46) since the engine weights less and it's tucked further back into the chassis. What engine was in the F10? Surprisingly you mentioned lack of LSD on the F30 though I've never seemed to have an issue with wheelspin or not being able to get the power down. Dunno.
