As for lowering your car, I'd be wary now that you have that front lip... But I guess that depends on where you live.. I recently installed one on mine (which looks to sit at the identical height yours does) and it lasted a week before I cracked it
Texas roads suck, and yes I was driving carefully, so be wary of lowering it!
