This is a great suggestion. I didn't get a y-cable included in the purchase of my Bimmer (maybe if I ask for one, the will the dealer will give me one for free
), and sometimes I forget to bring my apple cable so I gotta run back into the house to get it. So atleast with this option, the ipod will be inside all the time and ready for usage.
