If I were Kaep's agent, I would tell him to sit out until he got paid. He deserves at least a Romo size contract. Even Flacco got $120 mill. Kaep almost took the Niner's to two straight Superbowls. He was only paid something like $700k this year.
But I don't think he would sit out. He will go to camp on time and Niners will have to deal with paying him following next seasom. The roster will then take a definite hit. I see the window at one more year with the way this team sits now, at this strength. With NFL's hard cap, the team's talent will start to diminish.
