John it must only be HK equipped, because my new pro nav DOES drop volume to a set level. If volume is high it drops to say level 5, if volume is level 4 it doesn't drop as already low enough.
The only thing that annoys me is sat nav voice commands still blurt out when taking a phone call. My Merc used to mute commands as far as I can remember. Will suggest this to BMW for future updates
