It shows up in the HUD with that one setting, but it's usually not visible when you first start the car.
The HUD splash screen only displays for about 4 seconds, then goes away. When you start the car cold, the HUD takes 5-7 seconds before anything is displayed, so you miss it.
Try stopping and restarting the car quickly, you should be able to see the logo in the HUD.
I think the parameter KOMBI / 3110 / HUD_STARTUP_TIME can be changed to extend the start-up display time. The units are 0.1 seconds and the default is 28x (40 decimal, or 4.0 seconds). You can try increasing this, but I have not tested it, so you're on your own here. If you do change it, please post your results!
