My e-sys cable finally arrived so I got round to doing some coding. Pleased to say it all went off without a hitch.
I don't have a laptop so improvised by setting up an ethernet connection in the garage. I then used a desktop PC in the house to connect to the car in the garage.
For the ethernet link I just used a powerline adapter kit like
this. I also hooked up the car to a battery charger because I was taking my time with the coding and the ignition was on the entire time.
So far I've just removed the Legal Disclaimer and added DVD in motion. More to come though
