I just discovered if you have the a/c on Max, the car will not auto start/stop, like it does in normal a/c. So if you haven't coded this feature and it's hot out, just push max a/c and then turn the fan speed down and you're good to go.
Mind you, I could also push the button to disable auto start/stop too, but sometimes I like going the long way around.
