I had an e350 rental car this last weekend and at the speeds my caravan was going, those darn things were smacking the heck out of the windshield. I think it's a combo of keeping them out of the airstream for a barely-measurable gas efficiency reason (I'm sure it saves a gallon of gas every 10k miles
. The additional components of it probably cost more than the gas it saves), for blade longevity, and it looks better than
a competitor's alternative. (They tried to tuck it, but doesn't go as far as it should IMO... makes it look like garbage)
