Yes, the Android adapter is BT, and coding requires their 2nd Generation adapter, but they still don't have the feature working. All that aside, E-Sys likely won't work with your IOS/WiFi adapter, but you could certainly try to see if it will recognize it and connect. Nobody in the coding forums for 2- and 3-series seems to have done so, though - everyone's using a cable as far as I can tell.
